Dawn Trebes, Office Manager

Dawn Trebes, while managing the office, is the financial and insurance
wizard of our team. Her certification in accounting will help every patient
understand the financial end of their treatment. She can help you maximize
your insurance benefits to obtain your optimal dental health. She will
assist the most financially stressed patient persue financing that
will fit into their budget.
You may also see Dawn performing simple tasks in the back as well.
She is certified in oral radiography and as a recent graduate of the
Las Vegas Institute (LVI) of Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry, she may be
helping Dr. Yu and the rest of her team and educate you on your dental
treatment.
Her years of running and maintaining a business have easily transformed
her into a dental office manager. Her warm and friendly personality in
patient relations will keep you coming back.

Laurie Nordstrom, Qualified Dental Assistant

Laurie Nordstrom
is a Qualified
Dental Assistant with more than 20 years of chair-side experience. When
you visit our office for the first time, Laurie will be the one explaining
your treatment to you once the doctor has diagnosed your dental finding.
As our patient coordinator, she will make sure you are well educated about
all of the options of dentistry available to you for your particular needs.
Laurie is a recent graduate of the Las Vegas Institute (LVI) of Advanced
Dental Studies. Laurie is our own showcase of what Dr. Yu can do for
you to make you feel confident about your smile. Dr. Yu has reconstructed
Laurie’s smile to meet LVI standards. The same can be done for you. Come
in to meet Dr. Yu, her staff, and Laurie (and her smile) today!

Nicole Webb is a recent graduate of the Dental
Assistant program at the Medix School. She joined the team of Dr. Yu in
the summer of 2004. She has received her certification in taking radiographs
of the oral cavity and is currently studying for her Maryland Expanded Functions
State Dental Board examinations. She is a people person and loves being a
part of the team with Dr. Yu and the staff. Nicole enjoys meeting new patients
and is especially good with children, but also understands the different
needs of the elderly and handicapped. She takes great pride in making
all patients feel comfortable and is here for them.

Danielle Praley has been in the dental field
for 13 years. Her first career started in an orthodontic practice as an
orthodontic assistant. It was here that she learned how much she enjoyed
working with people one-on-one and how rewarding it was to see a person's
smile take shape. In 2000, she went to work for a general / orthodontic
practice in Annapolis, MD, where she was trained to be a dental assistant,
and eventually became part of their management team as the clinical coordinator.
She began her education for dental hygiene in the fall of 2000 at
Baltimore City Community College and graduated in May, 2005 with honors
and as SADHA class president. In August 2005, she took the position of
dental hygienist for Arundel Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. She
feels very happy to be a part of an amazing dental practice and to be a
part of the team that has become a second family. She enjoys working at
such a patient-oriented practice that has given her the chance to both
practice dental hygiene and to be a part of patient education. Her goal
is to make patients aware of their dental needs and encourage their participation
in treatment decisions.

Glenna
Pinachio joined the Arundel Family & Cosmetic
Dentistry team in August, 2005. She has spent over 20 years working with
patients in the many aspects of dentistry, first as a chair-side dental
assistant and then as a receptionist and appointments secretary.
Glenna has enojyed the many continuing care classes and seminars associated
with dentistry and also enjoys meeting new people.
